Started a year ago, the project Habitat Romanes has reached its completion. Twenty homes for as many needy families have been completed. On house dedication ceremonies will take place on Thursday, July 16, starting at 2pm, with the handing over of symbolic keys to the 20 families.
Also this week, a group of 14 volunteers from the US will be in Oradea to help put the finishing touches before the ceremonies. The volunteers are on the Habitat for Humanity work-site for the first time and they didn’t know each other before coming as they are part of what’s called an open team. They will also be handing the symbolic keys to the new homes’ beneficiaries.
