Starting Monday, June 8th, 11 volunteers from North Ireland will work for a week on the Habitat job site in the Voltaire district of Oradea. Alongside the families in need, they will help raise the 9th of 10 duplexes to be built for the 20 poor rroma families.
The volunteers, who came through the Global Village program of Habitat for Humanity International, are on a HFH Beius job site for the first time. They have no construction experience, but are guided by Habitat specialists and will build up to 2 new homes in just one week.
