Habitat pentru Umanitate Beius has renounced its affiliation status with Habitat for Humanity Romania and Habitat for Humanity International and is no longer a part of the Habitat for Humanity’s international network. The organization in Beius continues its activities under the new name “Casa Draga Casa” and will have a new brand identity. Habitat Beius was an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity between October 1996 and December 2012, and then continuing the collaboration without an affiliation contract. The same team continues at Casa Draga Casa with our own projects, remaining loyal to the mission of building homes and to develop new types of programs dedicated to low-income families. At the same time, the General Assembly of the Association Casa Draga Casa decided to expand the scope of activity in order to help a wide range of beneficiaries. The mission of Habitat for Humanity Romania to eliminate poverty housing as the unique representative of Habitat for Humanity International in Romania will continue through the National Office and its other affiliates.
