Women’s Build, Edition III
Saturday, 24th May 2008 – Nearly 50 women participated in building on a house on the Habitat worksite as part of the project Habitat Romanes
It’s been 3 weeks since the start of the project in Oradea by Habitat for Humanity Beius in partnership with ASCO through which 10 homes will be built in 4 weeks. Since then, over 400 volunteers have worked on the Habitat Romanes worksite in Velenta, managing together to raise homes for 8 poor families from Oradea. In addition to them on Saturday, they were joined by almost 50 women who worked on the construction of these homes.
