On June 25th, senator Cornel Popa and mayor of Beius, Adrian Domocos, works with the graduates of 1985 on Habitat site.
Over 20 of high school graduates in 1985 promotion of Samuil Vulcan high school, along with their teachers decided that after a quarter century at the meeting for 25 years, to celebrate this event in a special way. Thus, Friday, June 25 at 9:00, they meet on Habitat for Humanity Beius site where they works for entire day.
“It was a great experience and a commendable initiative. And the result is that in autumn, when the new school year will begin, we at National College Samuil Vulcan will help a needy family to live in a decent place. And will do this every year. ” says Traian Stanciu, director of the Samuil Vulcan high school.
Beius Mayor Mr. Adrian Domocos, and Senator Mr. Cornel Popa, participated on the worksite and next by the volunteers to encourage such a beautiful action.
“Both, Senator Mr. Popa and I, as Mayor, were have always been close by Habitat actions. Right now we are working toghether with Habitat for Humanity Beius on a project that will have a great final. So, by 2012 through a joint effort we will be able to declare Beiuş as the first city in Romania which has been eradicated the poverty housing” says Adrian Domocos, mayor of Beius.
